FRIDAY NIGHT:  RAIN STOPS WILLIAMS GROVE SPRINTS

     MECHANICSBURG, PA --   The sprint car races scheduled for Friday evening, April 16, at Williams Grove Speedway were rained out.
     Williams Grove will host the Saturday Night Series on April 17.  Super sportsman cars will be the featured attraction along with 358 c.i. late models and 305 c.i. sprints.
     Friday marked the first rain out of the season at Williams Grove.
     Four sprint car races have been completed thus far in 2010 with victories going to Fred Rahmer, Lucas Wolfe, Stevie Smith and Lance Dewease.
     The top ten in the Lawrence Chevrolet sprint car point standings is as follows:

     Sprint car racing will return to Williams Grove on Friday evening, April 23, with the running of the Tommy Classic, which will honor the memory of the late Tommy Hinnershitz, a Hall of Fame sprint car driver from Oley, Pa.
      The winner of the 30-lap feature will earn $6000 from a total purse of $30,000.
