SATURDAY NIGHT SERIES OPENER JUST FIVE DOLLARS APRIL 10

     MECHANICSBURG, PA -- The Saturday Night Series returns to Williams Grove Speedway to begin its fifth season on April 10 at 6:30.
     The opening night card will include four classes of race cars including the super sportsman cars along with 358 c.i. late models, street stocks and 4-cylinder stock cars.
     In addition to the racing, a fireworks display will also be presented.
     As an opening night special, general admission price for this full night of entertainment will be just five dollars.
     Following the closing of Mechanicsburg’s Silver Spring Speedway, the Saturday Night Series at Williams Grove was begun in 2006 to give the former Silver Spring racers a weekly home and to accommodate their loyal fans.
     Support by the race teams has been outstanding and fan attendance has increased during each of the first four years of the series.
     Nineteen Saturday Night Series dates appear on the Williams Grove schedule for 2010 including September 10, which is a Friday night.
         Sponsors for this season’s primary Saturday Night Series divisions include Blazer’s Body Shop - super sportsman division, Tattooed Mom - 358 c.i. late model division, L. B, Smith Ford - street stock division and John Wentzel’s Body Shop - 4-cylinder division.
     In addition to the four core divisions, other classes of race cars have been scheduled throughout the season on Saturday nights including 305 c.i. sprints, ARDC midgets and the All American Outlaws.  September 10 will also include the 358 c.i. sprints.
     The super sportsman division will headline all Saturday Night Series events this year.
