Does anyone have any info on Steve. Heard he was sent to Hershey Med. Sure hope it doesn't cause any problems with the burn injuries.

Steve suffered a large gash on his knee. There was a fire but he did not receive any burns. The fire was quickly contained. Steve Bubb

He was originally transported to Holy Spirit. It's hard to believe that place couldn't repair a gash!

Hope Steve is alright. I can certainly believe Holy Spirit couldn't fix something.

From Rob Wilbur's facebook:
Update on Steve, he flipped tonite at the grove. Intially he was unconcious for a few minutes. He was taken to holyspirit for stitches due to a bad gash in his knee and a brain scan. They found some bleeding at the base of his brain so they decided to move him to hershey to be safe. Typical of Steve he reminded me we are at Port Royal speedway this thursday, he told me to get the car ready!

His wife, Gloria posted this yesterday:
Steve is a very special man. And, a very fortunate man. He is pretty compliant at this point. Last nite was a a little diff story in ER at Hershey. Nurses kept needing to 'scold' him for trying to sit up in bed. They wanted him flat on his back in big neck brace, until all tests proved no spinal injury. (It did take 'forever'.) Tonite he had a hospital cheeseburger for supper and is awaiting 'heavy drugs' to help him sleep tonite - painful gash in knee. Hershey Med taking real good care of him. If he continues to act 'normal', he goes home tomorrow. Thanks everyone for praying and caring for him.
God is Good.

Steve just posted this on FaceBook:

Home Sweet Home. Just got home from Hershey Med. Knee is swelled up nice and really sore, pretty nice gash just below knee cap, this limp could last awhile, thats the good news. The bleedin from brain was and is alittle scary, but it stopped and should be fine. Thanks so much for the prayers. Gloria was a trooper thru once again and can't wait to get me healed up and back on the Speedway. I think she is rushing it alittle but she is the boss, so I hope to see you guys real soon. Seriously though thanks again for helping me dodge another one.

----Great to hear he is home!!

Well now, there's "normal" then there's "Steve normal"... Get well soon and don't rush back faster than you should! Bobby says there is plenty of time for you to fix that guardrail.
