Reservations for Sunday's race

Post by FanfromMd » Thu Mar 06, 2008 10:52 am

I would like to let the Williams Grove management know that I'm planning on attending the race on Sunday even in the face of questionable weather. I as a fan of sprint car racing pledge to make a good faith effort attend on Sunday.

Maybe if other fans would state ther intentions of going to the race the track wouldn't be so quick to pull the plug on the show so early. I know it will be cold but I'll be there and I hope to see all the other fans and race teams there also.

I will bring two, maybe three along with me :thumbleft:
I was there also Drak!! I never gave it a thought to call or get on the computer and check. We just drove there and got a real shock that no one was in the parking lot. Granted it only takes 15 to 20 min. from my house, but I just couldn't believe they called it off. :dontknow: :ahhhh:

Mostly Sunny ... Highs in the upper 30's for Sunday ... 100% chance of rain and snow on Saturday with little or no accumulation ... Since it's 125 miles one way for me I'm prolly gonna sit this one out ... :wellwaiting:

All the diehards will be there regardless of the conditions (myself and son included). The good old days of the Grove running come hell or high water are over. Thank god my buddy called me last week at 11:00 as I too would have driven over without giving it a second thought.
