Auto break-in

Post by Gayle » Mon Mar 24, 2008 12:59 pm

On Friday night, during the 410 heats, our vehicle was broken into (the drivers side window was busted out). It was parked in the front stretch parking lot. We have been coming to William's Grove every week for many years and this is the first time I have seen anything of this nature. If anyone has any information, I would be greatly appreciative, please PM me.

Again, thanks to anyone with any information.

Gayle

It was reported in the newspaper (Patriot) that there was a break-in I think on the backstretch the first race of the season. Perhaps security should be stepped up. Looks as though we may have a band of thieves working.

maybe start a parking lot watch, then when you find them beat the crap out of them then call the police. it will probably never happen again

What decals or driver preference decals are on it? Sometimes idiots damage other peoples cars/trucks just because they don't like the driver you like...Pretty lame I know....The person should have the living heck beat out of them, and then repeated...again and again...

I believe that someone was breaking into cars in the Mechanicsburg area all weekend. I live about 5 minutes from the track and our neighbors window was busted out of their car and then right up the street there was a truck that had a window on the truck cap busted out. The soon to be Mrs. also told me there was a cop going through our neighborhood with a spotlight shining in everyone's yard Saturday night. May be the same person/people.

i don't know if extra security would help as much as some extra dusk-till-dawn lights in the parking lot...

There was some security roaming the parking lots during the night . We went out to get warmed up during some 358 racing and talked to a couple then .
