Congratulations to the Highlands

Post by 1080 » Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:18 pm

Don't know if it was mentioned....or if it is a first. I believe the Highlands are also the first owners to have won in all 3 open wheel divisions also.

They have supported local auto racing for decades starting with Bob Highlands. Their list of drivers is quite impressive. They are good people and treat people right at their businesses in Carlisle and Newville.

I am glad they have showed up in the 410 ranks now. If this team gets to run on a regular basis, it will be a winner.

The Tangers were the first to own a car that won in all 3 divisions, but Pat is the first driver to win in all 3 divisions.

It was an historic occasion for Cannon who became the first driver
to win in super sportsman cars, limited sprints and sprint cars, the
three divisions that are regular attractions at Williams Grove.

Good post 99....................Props to the Highlands. Many thanx and much respect to you for your years of support!!! Enjoy your well deserved win.
