Great night of racing tonight!

Post by pell021 » Sat May 03, 2008 12:32 am

Congrats to Keith and the whole 7 team on the win! It seemed like old times really....Keith, Fred, and Todd up front and fighting for the victory. The track was well prepared as you could pass up high, down low, or run the middle lane.

Great 358 feature as well with Forsythe holding off Cannon on the lap last.

Terrific times had by all tonight. :thumbleft:

That was one incredible wheelie Judy pulled last night. Haven't seen a wheelie at the Grove since Paulus the other year. Congrats to KK, I must say I didn't think I'd ever see him win at the Grove again. I thought the 410 consi was incredible last night, Esh and Smith..Wow.

Sure sounds like Keith, Fred, and Todd put on one hell of a show last night.

Great racing all through the pack. Top 3 under a blanket the last 5 laps, the hornet's nest from 4th through about 8th and other battles in the middle of the pack. The people that say the Grove is single file, follow the leader racing should take note. The 45 continues to get better, must've had a soft tire on because he was reeling in the 7 and then faded quickly at the end. The 358 feature was gret too with Forsythe checking out early then holding off Cannon's numerous slider attempts, Westbrook and Geesey were lurking too.

I thought Rahmer showed alot of class for how he raced Keith, he didn't pinch him or try his slider and he didn't cut him off while trying to make the pass. The reason why respect for Keith. If it were a younger driver fred wouldn't have been as patient. Kudos to both Fred and Keith for a great race.
keith didnt get to where he is by letting people push him around.
THAT is probably why fred didnt try any of his head games
