truly one of the nicest guys in the pits, Get well soon Steve!!! you'll be missed while your away! I'll never forget the night we stuffed you in Vance Yingers car at Susky.LOL. I came over to ask your advice on some setup issues, which you and your crew were always willing to help us with, and we ended up putting you in the car. Hurry back my friend!!!

Steve Wilbur and his family -would like to thank everyone for their amazing outpouring of well wishes and continuous prayer. The racing community is one big family that Steve is very proud to be a part of. With fans and friends like all of you it makes going though a difficult situation like this a lot easier… Thanks again from the Wilbur Family

I spoke to Gloria, Steve's wife, as of this evening he is recovering from surgery. His burns were all 3rd degree and he needed skin grafts. All went well and he will remain at LVBC for an additional week. He said he really appreciates all the prayers and well wishes from everybody and he'll see everyone soon. A fund has been set up to help with medical cost.

Folks.................I cannot stress how important it is for us to reach into our wallets and help out Steve and his family. He is going to be out of commission for quite a while due to this incident, and he and his family need and would appreciate all the help we can give them. If we could get even $5.00 from each and every board member it would really go a long way. As of right now, there are 1541 registered members on here, that would really help fill the void of Steve's wages from his job. Please take the time and find it in your budget to help out!! It's what makes us the best fans in the world!! :pinkelephant:
