Since the Grove splits the points between the owner and the driver, will the Clemen's (Rahmer's owners) choose to put someone else in the car since they lead the owners points? A few years ago, the Klines put a car on the track while Hodnett was at Knoxville and that ended up getting them enough points to have a split championship with Todd Shaffer winning the driver's points. For $10,000 I think it would be worth giving it a shot and a former champion like Shaffer would be just the type of driver that could do it.

I thought that might be a real possibility. Fred and Todd have been friends for years and Todd is comfortable with Barry Jackson as well. Good luck to the 51 team. I hope Fred is better soon. Go get 'em Todd. :redpepper:
