What kind of seats are there in the "WOO reserved" section of the main grandstand? It is section H, orange on the chart. Didn't know if the they have backs or if it might be advisable to bring stadium seats.
Thanks,
John

No backs on the seats. Your best bet is to bring a blanket to sit on. Those stadium seats are a pain in the butt for those that have to sit behind you..especially when it's crowded.

Last week Bruce made an announcement that "most" stadium seats should remain in your car because of their extreme depth. Definitely the armed ones can not be used as they are wider than the Grove's seat spacing. A blanket is good..... enjoy the best weekly racing anywhere.

Great what about people with back issues ? I has major back surgery last year and need a seat back. If that is the case I may just save my $100 I'll end up spending.

HOW ABOUT BRING YOUR MOST COMFY CHAIR YOU HAVE AND SIT IN TURN 2 INFIELD.
YOU WILL SEE PLENTY OF ACTION AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SITTING TIGHT UP AGAINST
ANYONE, OR GET A KNEE IN THE BACK, OR HAVING ANYONE STEP ON YOUR TOES WALKING
BY YOU IN THE SMALL AREA WHERE YOU PUT YOU FEET AND COOLER. HAVE A GREAT TIME IN THE INFIELD.

I couldn't be more annoyed by those that think they have to bring a recliner to the grandstands or bleachers at a race (stadium seats). Wtf is the world coming to?? Cater to this...cater to that. Man back in the old days if some goof would've drug something like that in the bleachers, the surrounding fans would've whooped his a$$.
Hell why don't we just stand at the drop of the green and remain standing throughout the whole feature?
People say they "need" these seats because of "health" issues or whatever??? Most people I see with these seats are either extremely obese, or should've walked in the gate with a silver spoon hanging out of their mouths!
How bout stay the fawk home or go on a diet?

Hey jbracing62, on behalf of most of the fans at the Grove, we welcome you. I am sorry for the rough comments some have made, as you asked a civil question. The blanket is the correct choice. Enjoy the racing at the Grove as it is one of the best tracks in the country.

as this thread progressed, this evening,i thought the same, thankyou Mr. Exner, for sayin what i was  . yes, there are some tracks, that have plenty of room for stadium, seats, but the Grove ain't one of em,front or backstretch.perhaps, you could sit at the at frontstretch area, that is directly behind the flagstand :dontknow: yes,yur view is somewhat limited, but you will have plenty of room :carrot: just sayin :cheers2:

The other week I was there an older group of ppl sat in front of us went down to get food and drinks. Then somebody came in while they were down and put those arm rest seats down needless to say they had maybe a foot to fit their legs in. They were pretty much forced to get up and move to different seats which they did.

Not a problem about any of the comments. I've been to the Grove a few times, but I usually get a pit pass and end up sitting somewhere on the back stretch. The last time we sat in the main grandstand was probably 5 years ago, before we moved to PA, so I couldn't remember what it was like. The lawn chairs are in the car, so if it's too crowded we can go sit in the infield in turn 2 with all the cool people... GO POSSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
