Aint that the truth.

On a side note, I came on here last year and predicted this was coming. I had quite a few teams last year tell me they where tired of running for 2nd every week and some have already moved up to the 410's. If other rumors are true coming from Williams Grove, then you might see even less 358's there every time they race.

every race wont be the "perfect" race (whatever that is) .
I should have clarified before my action comment----of the 358 races Ive seen(which I am sure arent near as many as most here) they have been action packed great races.
I dont care what kind if racing you watch sometimes you are gonna have follow the leader

Well you ask were are all of the 358's I can only speak for myself and a hand full of close friends with cars. The whole 360 question has made me think twice about spending any money in my motor not knowing what the rule changes may be next year. And if I can only afford to run 15- 18 shows I might as well wait until the weather is nice. Makes it more fun for everyone. Do I feel like I'm racing for second? Never even thought about it until I read it on here. When ever we beat or pass a more well funded team it just makes.me feel good about our prep in the shop and chalk it up to doing our homework and putting the best racecar on the track I can. Even if it is for less shows instead of showing up with used up parts and tires just to be there. When we show up I know if we hit the setup and get a little lucky I really feel like we can run with anyone if I didn't think that I would sell everything and buy a fishing pole.

And what is this rumor? My motor is done and we are putting our plan together for our limited schedule and were thinking of making a few trips to WG instead of just running SG. Which pays better and is less travel for me. ?? You can pm me if u like. I have heard the guys are killing tires at WG that can kill us lower funded teams. Nyle Berkes

Are you talking about WG? Seems like at the Grove, many of the 358 features are follow the leader around the bottom because the 410's pushed the cushion too high and the 358's don't have the HP to run the top when it's up close to the guard rail. Different story at other tracks though. The 358 heats at WG are often better than then 410's however.

The 358 heats at the Grove are better because they they are Handicapping. The 410 heats are boring. JMO.
