York, PA – May 31, 2012 – York County Racing Club is set to make its Saturday Series club night appearance at Williams Grove Speedway this Saturday, June 2. Super Sportsman, 358 Late Models and Street Stocks fill the card for the first of two club night visits this year, to the historic half-mile speedway. Late Model driver Pat Beard took top honors at Trail-Way’s May club night and will attempt to duplicate that feat on Saturday at The Grove.
Williams Grove’s regular Saturday Series $5 General Admission will remain in place. YCRC is scheduled to return to Williams Grove on Friday, June 15 for 410 and 358 Sprint Cars.
Next week on June 9, YCRC will make its return trip to Trail-Way Speedway in Hanover to recognize the Saturday Series consisting of 270cc and 600cc Micro Sprints, Scramble Cars, Strictly Stocks and the Legends Series. Scott Houdeshell took home an YCRC pewter plate, as do all winners on club nights, recognizing his Legends feature win on the May 11 club night at T-W. Scott will be looking to pull off a rare YCRC repeat at the same track in a single season.
Trail-Way is once again offering $2 off of the regular admission price to club members who present their membership card when purchasing their ticket.
