Former local semi-late model driver D--k Snare passed away. Snare also raced in the sportsman and hobby classes at the Silver Spring Speedway. Snare was a real nice gentleman and enjoyed visiting EMMR. His service will be on Friday. There will be more information in today's (Tuesday) Patriot News. Steve Bubb

I grew up across the street from D**k in Mechanicsburg and remember well. He was an excellant driver in the red #5 at Silver Springs. Never heard an unkind comment about him or his driving style. My condolences to his family.

It is really sad that you cannot even spell a mans real name out on this message board because some idiot will use the word as derogatory!!

So politically correct I guess. :ahhh:
