I was at Lincoln and it was no 21 degrees you cant race in that track would be frozen solid. It was 37 degrees out I remember.

The integrity of this place is going downhill. I'll leave it at that. It's week one and I already got reminded twice why I didn't get a season pass again this year.

Please 35 degrees at warm ups time and your gonna complain really???? Good call good chance track will be frozen before they would've been done.

Lets hope the weather warms up for next week. Smart move to cancel early, the engines are way to expensive to take a chance in this weather. Very difficult to water the track tomorrow with 25mph winds and near freezing temperatures. I actually find it refreshing that the track takes fans into consideration .

I can only speak for myself, but if someone says they're going to do everything that they can do to race, and then cancel 30 hours prior to the event, that's not even trying let along doing everything they can. Now if they came out and said, it's too cold and not worth us trying....that's perfectly fine. But don't lie to folks by telling them that you're going to do everything when you have no intention to do so.

We'll see how Port, Lincoln and Selinsgrove handle the same forecast for Saturday. That's what I'm intrigued about now.

Cold temps = low car count and low fan count. It was a common sense move by the track.

Very Smart move!! The fact they did it early was even better..If it was a daytime race..Maybe..But not for an evening. We have went back to Jan.temps right now and try to keep heat in an engine is nearly impossible and with Methanol not burning correctly till 165 degrees its super hard on the engines..Good Call all around..JMO.

Good call canceling. Fan count would be really low. Better to cancel early then drag all the teams out and then cancel.
