That was a GREAT race. Congrats to Donny and to pass 4 cars in the last 2 laps was incredible to watch.

I am a diehard Hodnett fan, but I have to say "congrats" to Donny Schatz. What a drive the last 5 laps.

The ending to that race was absolutely crazy. Not really sure what happened to Greg, but it's like you waited for Greg to drive it off the corner out of 4, and Schatz just passed him like he was standing still with 300 yards to go.... One heck of a finish!!!!

The rest of the guys missed the setup! :poking:

Anyways, how was the crowd????????????

Was it a packed house like they used to get or just so so????????????????????

I've been to Big Diamond twice Port once and Selinsgrove about 6 times. Crowds have been bad at all of them! I've heard the same report about the Grove. Weikert Memorial the exception. I've heard that there may be changes at Selinsgrove unless the crowds pick up. Hopefully it was the weather and not the economy. We will see! I like the Grove and will get there eventually, but with the price of gas and my ability to stay awake, Big Diamond is a better choice.

Crowd was so-so for an Outlaw show. They have had better. Racing was great. You missed a good one.

keep raising the admission and concession prices and see what happens at selinsgrove! remember when general admission was $8 and a cheeseburger wasn't $4? better crowds then, any coincidence?

i can't stand him, but donny drove a great race last night. i thought for sure greg had it, but i guess it wasn't meant to be.

the admission has been raised twice in the last 13 years, well actually 3 if you count the time it was raised AFTER it was dropped for a year or 2. it stood at $10 for at least the last 5 or 6 years. no one else has raised admission prices in that time? and while i don't know what other tracks charge for cheeseburgers i'd be willing to bet that $4 isn't too far off from the average.
My OPINIONS are just that and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of anyone or any track I am associated with!
