The bigger question should be, when will the Grove stop the Campers from roping off all the parking spots for non-campers.
I use to like Oreo Cookies and Chocolate milk.

If I show up Saturday morning with a camper what's the chances of finding some room way back on the north east side?

the line to get in the parking lot today, was backed up 1/2 mile from turnpike, I would say this weekend will be nearly impossible to find a camping spot

Seriously????? What if folks reserved camping spots? I know they are in a different area so would any of this madness affect them?djblue wrote:the line to get in the parking lot today, was backed up 1/2 mile from turnpike, I would say this weekend will be nearly impossible to find a camping spot

Re: Camping for The National Open?
If people have reserved camping spots, show your pass to security when you enter. (they will ask) If you find someone in your spot, best advice is to go back to security & they will take care of the situation. I have sat where I camp which is right by the backstretch exit/entrance & have watched security check peoples camping passes.
I am normally there early for outlaw weekends, & will be there hopefully by 2pm Thursday. I personally would not even think about showing up the day of the race (few hours before hot laps) battling with campers/public, because it is nearly impossible to even find a spot to park, let alone the foot traffic.

Re: Camping for The National Open?
I didn't say that. I can't speak for the people roping things off & I can't speak for security. I just am telling you what I have seen in the past, which is, security approaching people parked in wrong spots that are reserved.
As far as roping things off, I know exactly what you're talking about, I see it when I am there.
Is it correct, no not at all. Where I am located, our spots never get messed with.
