Has any local track ever run Super Late Models and 410s, to have a sort of "two top divisions, no undercard" show on a weekly basis? I'm not aware of any track doing it in recent years, but I'm curious if it has ever been done in the past.

Port royal every week
My apologies - I'm from south of Baltimore, so I don't get up to Port. For some reason, I thought they were running Limited Lates, not Supers (or whatever variants of the terminology one might prefer). Thanks for the info.
Q: How is Central PA different from the Old West?
A: In Central PA, the Outlaws try to catch The Posse!

They have both. They've had SLM's for a long time and this season they replaced the pro-stocks with the new econo-late division, which is pretty similar to a LLM but different engines and a tad slower.
Stimulate the economy- buy made in the USA.

For some reason though the tracks in PA (Port and Selinsgrove) don't draw the top tier drivers in the SLM division. I assume it is because those divisions are not considered the top division at the track where Hagerstown, Winchester, Delaware and elsewhere bill them as the top division. Even some drivers who live relatively close to Selinsgrove and Port travel to Hagerstown and Winchester instead. I love Hagerstown but would be at Lincoln or WG or Susky every week if either of them ran SLM weekly. I would especially like to see Susky move to SLM. If you are going to be a full fendered track you should at least run a premier division IMO.

Thanks,
Jeff.

It a shame Williams Grove does not schedule more super late model races. They for some reason have shied away from the series even thought they always put on a great show. Is management afraid they might be a better show than others they hold?
