EMMR National Open Auction at 10 AM Saturday
The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing will conduct its annual benefit auction in the back pit area of the famed Williams Grove Speedway at 10 AM this Saturday in conjunction with National Open festivities. The auction is a joint venture between EMMR and Knoxville Iowa’s National Sprint Car Hall of Fame with all proceeds benefitting the two organizations.

The highlight of this year’s auction is a large framed photograph of Williams Grove Speedway taken by George Levy and autographed by all living National Open winners including Gordon Johncock winner of the inaugural National Open in 1963.

There is a G-Force helmet autographed by Pa Posse and World of Outlaws drivers. Die cast items of drivers including Steve Kinser, Jan Opperman Kevin Gobrecht and others will be auctioned. Other items include framed photos of drivers from the past and present including Bobby Adamson, Kasey Kahne, Fred Rahmer, Keith Kauffman, Smokey Snellbaker and the King, Steve Kinser. Other unique items include feature winner trophies won by Lynn Paxton and Smokey Snellbaker.

Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. All proceeds benefit EMMR and the NSCHoF.
