I don't know anything official, but unless they get everything in except the A Main, they would likely cancel and not run the remainder, is my guess.

Can't see why Sunday can't be used as a rain date since the next woo race is next Saturday

Also, if the race gets rained out tonight, it sounds like the drivers will also get screwed. I've read on twitter that if there is a rain out tonight, it will become a one day show for $10,000 to win. OUCH!!!! I hope this is not true!!!!

I received word that this post by Donny Schatz on Facebook referrs to the plan for this weekend should Williams Grove Speedway get rained out one or both nights.

The plan is that if one night gets rained out, then they will be racing for $10,000 instead of the $50,000 to win purse. The only way Sunday will be an option is that if both Friday and Saturday get rained out, then they will run on Sunday and for $20,000. The only way the $50,000 gets paid out is if they run as scheduled..Friday and Saturday.

Forecast for Sat looks good. Forecast for tonite-Uh,not good at all. I guess it`ll more than likely end up a one day show. :(

Actually it all pretty much sucks

National Weather service.....
This afternoon Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Tonight Showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Mild. Lows in the upper 50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the evening. Chance of rain 90 percent.
Saturday Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Less humid with highs in the lower 60s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Saturday night Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly clear. Much cooler with lows in the mid 30s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

All this great weather lately and come time for the biggest race of the year-crap weather shows up. 25 MPH gusts Sat and in the 40s. :ahhhh:

I would expect if everything but the A-main is completed prior to a rain out, then the feature would either be made up before qualifying for Saturday program, or after the A-main on Saturday. Remember in 2009 when Friday was rained out and they had to make up the feature from July's show, they ran it after the Saturday Feature and Cody Darrah won.

So if we only race tomorrow and they go with the $10,000 to win purse does that mean general admission will be a little cheaper? I'll bet not.
Way she goes.............

My thoughts too. This settles it for me. If we rain out tonight im not going tomorrow. Hopefully others will feel the same way. And pinky can choke on her 40 grand :uzi:

Per @williamsgrove on twitter, the purse stays at $50K to win tomorrow regardless.

This is a promoters nightmare! What a shame for all. Looks to me that they will get started as the radar has the green over 150 miles away. How fast is it moving?????? I'll take a guess and say all qualifying in the books and two features tomorrow night.

WC says 8:15 PM but it is a crapshoot. Make that 8:45 now. So who knows. I`m going tomorrow when I`m sure they will run.
