Admission Saturday

Post by bmd5229 » Tue Oct 14, 2014 1:47 pm

May I ask why GA is 15$ Saturday for nearly half of what you get in a normal show?? I may be wrong on this on but isn't general admission normally 14. I know there is 4 classes, but that seems a little much for just features only. I know its only a dollar but its got me puzzled.

There's 4 complete feature purses to be paid out, heats usually pay nothing so not having them doesn't decrease the purses. A dollar extra in admission is more than reasonable and don't forget seniors get in for $8 :jiggy:

Im not complaining, I just wanted an explanation that's all. Then shouldn't SNS admission be 15$??? They have how many classes to pay out at the end of the night?

It's a good deal for the race teams that support the track. No heat race or Consi, you know you're racing a feature when you sigh into the pits. Think about total racing laps. You'll see just about as much as you would see with a typical Friday program these days anyway.

Thanks for explaining it, I tried to get one on twitter and got rude responses. Im just seeing it from both sides, spectator and business and understand my side and theirs.

The features are what pays the $$$, not the heats. I wish every show was like this, just jump into the meat and potatoes and skip the appetizers. See what you came to see and get home at a decent hour. How can you beat that? Hope they have fireworks! :cwm4:

The SNS does not have 410 Sprint purse to pay out which is substantial compared to the 3 divisions that compete in the SNS!

I think if you added up the purse for all of the SNS divisions you wouldn't have enough to pay a 410 purse.

The fact is that they are paying a complete Friday night purse, and 2/3 of a Saturday purse. So the admission could be justified even being higher really. I think if you look around at what other tracks would charge to see 358s, 410s, LLMs, and Super Sportsman (I could see SSP charging $25+) then WG is giving you a great deal.

Apparently you missed everyone else explaining it, and me saying I understand. No further rude comment was neccesary.

I didn't think my comment came off as rude, I was just giving additional insight and comparing Williams Grove to other area tracks. If you were offended by my comment I apologize.

Thanks,
Jeff.
