Thank you Williamsgrove for wetting the top down before the feature. It turned out to be a pretty good race after all.

Just guessing but I d say Bruce got stuck in traffic because of the wreck on Rt. 81, the same one that made Dan Stone turn around and returned home.

It would be nice if they could duplicate that type of surface on a weekly basis. You may not see any track records but surfaces like that are when you see the best racing because you can't just put it to the floor and hang on. They were using every inch of that track from wall to wall. It was a little chilly, but the racing was great. :cheers2:

Well I say from now on, we wait for Bruce to get there. Not trying to be picky because the show still ended very early, but was it necessary for a 40 minute intermission? The last heat race was at 8, and they didn't even push the cars out till 845. Was there a reason for the long delay, or no? Again not trying to be a downer just wasn't sure if they were waiting on something or what. Great racing all night, congrats to the 21 team in 17-3 and little Freddie for holding his own for the first time. Sucks the late models were a snooze fest

The surface sucked...They got lucky that's all. Teams left with BALD right rears. Just happy to see they ran.

Bruce was and still is in Florida taking care of some personal business so we might have had a long wait...

I guess I worded that a little wrong. It was definitely too dry and 99.9% of the time, a track like that will rubber up and become one lane. I was talking more in terms of how wide it was but yeah, you're right. Definitely too dry and they did get lucky.

Wetting the top is what made it racey otherwise it probably would've been a freight train.

I still hate to think that when Bruce decides to retire from announcing the next voice will probably be SB. :ahhh:

Who is Bruce? Are we talking about the announcers last night? I thought the PA announcer(s) were great. They sound very professional and exciting. If you guys are complaining about that you guys are spoiled. I've seen some pretty awful announcing in my years.

Thanks,
Jeff.
