Dave Hare is the best in the central PA area. I wish he would do sprint car races all the time. I only get to hear him when the sportsman or once in awhile , other divisions are in combination with sprint cars.

Yea Bruce is so great, more and more forgets what heat or time trial lap is happening. Basically snubs any division other then 410's. Ignores sponsors of the 358's. Yea he is the greatest ever. He should retire.

We are fortunate to have Bruce and Shawn to provide their vast knowledge to us . Even a seasoned fan will pick up something from them as they are so passionate about their job . I see Shawn weekly in the pits searching for the latest tidbit to pass on . Never hear any derogatory or rude comments, always a professional . Victory lane interviews , love them . ----- Music not needed .

Dave Hare was the announcer Friday night and does a great job for the Saturday Night Series. Also does the Appalachian Mountain Speedweeks. Dave works hard to get great information to the fans and his Paul Harvey intro for SNS is well done.

The sound system is what sucks the most you cant hear a thing where we sit on the backstretch. Bruce may not be the most exciting but ill take him any day over shawn. Cant stand that guy.

Thanks,

Some people just need to find something to complain about to be happy, lol... Personally I go to watch the races, not listen to the announcer...

I agree but I would like to hear the announcer at least get the names correct of who is on the track or who crashed in the 2nd turn. A few years ago I even heard the winners main sponsor announced as a totally different business and car. Have to agree with Tig on this one.

O I agree that you should at least get your job right, lol, I just don't really care much about what the announcer has to say, I just watch the race and follow along and keep track of stuff myself the best I can... Might be cause of all the years I've sat where I sit in the infield turn 3, we can never hear the PA anyway so I don't even bother paying attention to it, which is why I stopped buying 50/50 tickets years ago, lol...

Personally, I think Steve Inch at Selinsgrove is the best announcer in this area.

I go to watch a race, but it's hard to enjoy the race and associate with people when announcers such as Shaun, are constantly talking. I know Bruce talks a lot but, his voice is not as bad and he actually takes a break from talking. I also didn't like hearing "it's time to play in be clay at Williams Grove speedway." Should always be "its show time at Williams Grove Speedway." JMO which I know doesn't matter.

Dave Hare is a good announcer I think he does a fine job. Bruce has been a fixture at the grove for quite some time his announcing and journalism is just mediocre IMO.
Ted Reitz was the last announcer at the grove that I really enjoyed listening to.
