National Open

Post by The Toolmaker » Sat Sep 19, 2015 4:46 pm

Where does someone find the complete format for the 3 day open?. I was looking for a documented explanation that I could copy & take along to help me understand the format everyday & every event.

Is this a WOO format or a W'grove format? Can someone from the race track get on here & give us all the details.

Ok, this format is setup to take total amount drivers and/or car and assign each a Thursday Or Friday qualifying nite. (ex. 100 cars= 50 on each nite, 50 cars= 25 on each nit) Do drivers and/or cars have to pre enter? Can they pick the nite they want to run?

I'm only going Thursday night because you figure if a car has a bad night the 1st night, he'll be playing catch-up the rest of the weekend. Plus if a driver can only make it for Friday or Saturday, he'll be way behingd the 8 ball so why waste the gas to go if your chances of making the big show are very slim. Why do you think Rico decided against running? Its because of the format.

Rico has a NASCAR race Thursday so he wouldn't be able to get a bunch of points. Now the way he ran he the first time, I'm sure he would have no problem getting points the next night to set himself up good. Not to be an ***, and I know this payout is nothing to Knoxville but does your logic apply to Knoxville as well??
