Williams Grove National Open World Of Outlaws Weekend Sept. 29, 30 & Oct. 1 Cancelled
New One-Day 54th Annual Champion Racing Oil National Open Now Slated For October 14
Race Goes 40 Laps For $25,000 To Win

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
9/30/16

Mechanicsburg - Williams Grove Speedway has been forced to cancel the entire 54th annual National Open weekend due to persistent rain and forecasted inclement weather. This includes the Saturday, October 1 finale.

As a result of the cancellation, a mutually agreed upon date has been reached for the return of the World of Outlaws to Williams Grove Speedway for a one-day National Open with the stage set for a make-up on Friday, October 14 at 7:30 pm.

The one-day format will feature the 40-lap National Open, now paying $25,000 to win and $1,000 to start that will also crown the 2016 Williams Grove Speedway track champion.

All special events slated to be held on speedway grounds on October 1 including auctions and benefits will take place as previously scheduled.

Fans who hold tickets to the September 29, 30 and October 1 National Open can either exchange them or use them for the new rain date. All tickets will be refunded as per back of ticket, and this week’s camping passes will be honored on the rescheduled National Open date.

Before the October 14 National Open culminates the season, a program of "Run Whatcha' Brung" 410 sprint and super late model racing is slated for next Friday, October 7 at 7:30 pm.

Keep up to date on all the latest speedway news and information by visiting the oval’s official website at www.williamsgrove.com or by visiting the oval on Facebook or via Twitter.

OK, I hold reserve seat tickets for all three originally scheduled nights, which ones can be used for Friday the 14th? It's not real clear from reading the release. But there's always the possibility that I'm an idiot too. :dontknow:

I sent an email to the office. Seems like a legitimate question to me. I can't be the only one in this situation.

Do what 75% of other people do. Show up and sit in the red seats. Can't go wrong there.
