  Wow, you're definitely getting that 300 dialed in now!! It looks like you're actually on the track for a couple of those shots!

Thanks, It was actually my worst performance with the new camera, but it was user error. I did 2 things wrong... 1. I had the LCD brightness boosted which gave me a false sense of exposure. When I dumped the pics they were no where near what they looked like on the screen. 2. I didn't have the flash set high enough so that it would recycle more quickly. I tried to take 4-5 shots per lap to get everyone's car, and I ended up with 5 dark crappy pics instead of 2 nice sharp properly exposed pics. I'll work on it, and hopefully I can use it as a learning experience. If I don't learn every time out, I'm not working hard enough...

No doubt Jas....sort of went through the same thing at Port Saturday night. When reviewing my photos in the viewfinder they seemed dark. So I made a few adjustments with the flash and exposure and when I got home and put them on the computer I ended up blowing a lot of the photos up with flash/brightness. I had some nice shots that were way over exposed. But like you said I learn something everytime out, guess that's what makes it fun. Gives me a reason to come back again the next week to better myself.

Course Port doesn't help the cause with the whole lighting thing either... ;)

Anyway great shots though!!
