A few photos from Trail-Way Speedway on April 4, 2009. It was an evening of some outstanding racing. Four cars battling for the win coming off the fourth turn on the last lap in the 270cc Micros. The car in third when the passed me in turn one won the race. Great job Todd Hoover. Brian Racine trying to go three for three in the 1000cc Sidewinder Sprint race when he made a dive under Sean McAndrews in turn one on the last lap. McAndrews held Racine off to claim his first Sidewinder feature win. In the 600cc Micro feature the battle between Skylar Felkner and Tyler Walton was a classic. Felkner officially lead every lap but he battled the competition all race long. The Scramble Car races were just as exciting. Congrats to all the drivers and the speedway for another great racing surface.

Not a really good night for me photography wise. The reflector dish on the flash was like a sail in the winds making camera control a challenge. I can't imagine how hard it was to keep a car with a wing under control when a gust of wind caught the wing.
