If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem.

Very nice images Brent! The road courses provide a bunch of different angles and backgrounds.

I wish I could shoot this stuff everyday. The number of backgrounds and angles you have to work with makes it a lot of fun to shoot. By July I grow tired of the same angles and boring/cluttered backgrounds we have to work with on the dirt ovals.

Very cool.

Anyone planning on a trip to Baltimore for the Indy Car and American Le Man series next fall?

I'm planning on going. I still think a natural road course would be a better show, but I guess I'll settle for anything that's closer than Mid Ohio or Lime Rock at this point. Hopefully there are some decent areas to watch the race from.

You're right about the street courses not being as good. Well, for shooting at least. I've shot the St Petersburg GP a couple of times and it was certainly lacking in quality photo op locations. Not to mention the battle that went on to get additional photo holes cut in the fencing. But, it was still a good time and I'd go back again.

The Baltimore race is going to be down by the Inner Harbor and I've been there but don't remember much altitude change. The map looks like there is a lot of potential though. Pit road appears to run closely parallel to the track between Turns 7 & 8. It might be like the Cleveland GP at Burke Lakefront - great shots of pit activity there. Cleveland was way flatter than St Pete and good photo locations were pretty limited.
