Hey look at it on the bright side though at least it isn't Gordon or Johnson Who's winning like last year.

First, it is the Hendrick racing series. Secondly, you know it is bad when Brian France says on national radio that it is a proven fact that the TV ratings increase when JR is successfull.

Like Robin Miller said once "It is not whether you want to win in Nascar, It is whether Nascar wants you to win".

The top 35 is stupid.
Everything is to cater to Hendrick
and they will **** sure make it so that JR is up front.

**** shame for the other 20 or so drivers who are much better than him.

Cookie Cutter race cars.....TV time outs.....structured caution periods....almost staged racing.

Bring back the STOCK cars....let the manufacturers duke it out at the factory too.....If the track is clear....green flag. Screw the NASCAR truck.....the drivers will handle it!

I slept through half the race......I would have a better chance staying a wake at one of the 100 car enduro's at a local dirt track.....almost the same racing and mentality.

It's sad to know that some of the local NASCAR fans I have encountered have NEVER been to an area dirt track!

Truer words have never been spoken.

The other unfortunate thing is the naming of the series "Sprint Cup". Now when I talk to people at work or other non-racing environments and I explain where I was or where I'm going "to a Sprint Car race", the first thing out of their mouth is "oh, who is your favorite driver, Gordon ? Ernhardt ? " Um, no. I watch real racing not that contrived corporate crap you see on Sundays.

I guess my take on this can best be summed up like this...... Real race announcers at real races don't wear ties and blazers ! !

Come on man, you can't be serious. He may be the biggest NAME in NSACAR right now but he has a long way to go before he is the best driver. The statistics don't lie.

Their is more action in a mini van race at SSP than in a NASCAR race.
