It made a heckuva difference at Lernerville when they added the radios. Much quicker lining cars up.

We've had radios at most tracks here in the Carolina's for about 2 years....I think they are the best thing since "Beadlocks".....The cost is a one time charge of about $200.00 and you own the unit....Alot of fans are buying them to get in on the action.

We used one for the first time back in October down at Winchester Speedway in Virginia and our driver liked it.We will be required to use them at Susky this year.I think it speeds things up.

Port Royal will never do anything that is going to mean spending money to actually improve the races....You have to remember, they were recently brought into the 20th century and started using "that black stone sheet and that white stick".After investing so much in these "new fangled line up boards",there is no budget for those "untested radio thing-a-ma-jiggies".

I used the one ways at Winchester. The radios are a good investment for safety, but hurt those who only plan to run one or two races since they then have to spend money to rent the equipment. I will say though the Grove does not mess around with line ups and fighting on the track for position so there is no problem with line ups now. If they do decide to go with the radios a significant notice would be nice.

A little off the subject, but does anyone know what frequency the officials listen too. It would be nice to monitor on a scanner.
