nascar fans lost it's current champion in alan kulwicki.... alan was the last owner/driver champion in nascar, and most likely always will be...

alan was 38 yrs old, and is listed as one of the 50 greatest driver in nascar history...

alan turned down rides from junior johnson, bud moore, rick hendrick, and the wood brothers during his career to continue to run and manage his own race team..

alan died 5 months after winning the winston cup championship...continue to rest in peace alan....you are gone but not forgotten...

Never got to see him race or anything but i heard a lot of good things about him. Continue to rest in peace Alan :(

I was not a fan of his but did respect his acomplishments.My wife bought a picture for me years ago of the Man in Black.She had no idea that the other car in the picture was Alan.I am a proud owner of a picture of 2 great champions running side by side.
