Just read on Sg board that Stone, Sagi, LeBarron, Haus, Frye and possibly both Yoders will be at SG. Gonna be great watching these guys charge from the back!

I'd take alot of the posts on the SG site with a grain of salt, they are embellished quite a bit! Frye has been there quite a bit this year, I agree with Haus being there. Young Yode might be there, but as for the rest, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Well they are all former track regulars and Sagi really took a liking to the roomier bottom groove last year at the PLM coming from 22 to 2nd so I can believe it although I thought maybe some of these guys would go to Winchester for the higher $$. SG really dropped the ball here and should have had the LM open this weekend instead of the PS 20 with H-town, Port LM and macs all off, but I guess if they get a great field for the regular purse then why pay more.

When it comes to anything with Late Models I don't think they know how to pick up the ball. They always seem to be an after thought at best. That is the main reason I am finding other tracks on Saturday nights (I do like them Port 50/50 girls). The gas issue is starting to rear it's ugly head though! It's a 2 hour drive to Hag. and a 1 1/2 hour trip to Susky. What do ya do......

Hey No Rookie, I bet I know what would help Selinsgrove "Pickup the Ball" for the late models. A local businessman, say maybe someone who made some of his living from the racing at a track that is no longer a premier facility, someone who doesn't put up any sponsorship money all yearlong but loves to take potshots, lets say he offers to get involved in a way that shares the risk involved with putting on one of these shows.

I bet something like that would go a long way towards all the sanctioned shows you thik they need.

BTW, where did you go to see racing Saturday Night?

Last week on Ulrich's Racing review radio show. He said that Selinsgrove Speedway actually had a WoO Late Models date set for June 1 but it fell through. But they are TRYING

Hey Shuey, Yep I waited too! I have to say the 32 car field Sat. night was impressive. It would be nice if it would continue but I doubt it.

High in the first turn or where ever, What are you mumbling about? If you think you saw me there Sat. night (Which I was for most of the event) you might want to introduce yourself and explain. Obviously, you have no clue!

Mumbling??? All I was saying is maybe some additional financial backing would help get Selinsgrove back to your standards. A business that was getting a free ride from the racers and crowd that were there every weekend should consider sponsorship. Thats all I'm saying. I'm sure you understand that.

As far as introducing myself, I have no idea who you are, nor would I suspect you would ever attend a track that you dislike so much. Those are the only clues I have. :D
