All this for a spinout, think what would happen if there had been a wreck that tore up a car.

You also have speedweek, dream race, T-50 when there are 5000 or more in the stands at $20-27 a pop, plus the money they make off the fair. There was a decent crowd last week for kids nite.

So let me see if I got this straight, the fairboard gives one food vendor the authority to decide what the other stands should pay to remain open? Do I have that right? If so, of course they're gonna charge an outrageous fee. The less stands, the more business for them. That's like letting the rooster run the hen house. Meanwhile the fans are the ones who suffer. We now have to leave the track and drive to Tyson Hill to get a good slice of pizza or sub.

Want to talk about pizza, I love the pizza from the infield stand at Port! Even when OIP was open I always ate from the infield stand!

I've been around the track (just as a fan) for all of my life , yes there can be improvements made and some better decisions , but overall , I believe they do a pretty good job for the capitol they have to work with . I suggest if you can do better , get on the board and work a miracle.

I'll be happy just to have the OIP stand back in operation. I hope that doesn't require a miracle. :laughing7:

I assume you're talking about the Selinsgrove Speedweek race? It was by far the dustiest track I've seen this year. One more night like that and I'll be heading to Port more often. I'm also getting a little tired of every race at Selinsgrove being won on the bottom this year, didn't used to be that way.

You only covered some of the revenue also, didn't mention concession revenue or money they get by the state for the fair.

Dust Bowl cannot be named for just one night of racing. Port was very dusty every time ive been out there so far this year. Other than Speedweek show Selinsgrove has been very good this season compared to past seasons.

No only an opinion who is actually there every week! Not someone that calls it a **** dust bowl when they only go to the track maybe 3 or 4 times a year for the 410 races!!
