I know Jared Miley planned on coming in a couple weeks. Bryan Casey plans to come. The Morans have run all the races so far and Devon is going for rookie of the year. I'm hoping Eddie Carrier comes since he is the points leader

WOAH big boy, did someone hit a nerve. The so called "All Star" show is a big joke, and will be one of the major laughs of the season. . . It was booked only to show the "naysayers" that they could get a "Traveling Series" . . . Everyone knew at the time of the announcement, that the "All Stars" didn't pay their 2010 point money, and they had no intention of doing so. This also meant that there would be no so called "All Star" drivers intending to run every show. I'll go out on a limb here, and say there might be as many as two drivers that live outside of PA that will attend.

Whah who cares if they live outside of PA. Last I checked Eddie Carrier and Donnie Moran are pretty **** good! And also Weikert fan Charlie didnt exactly have a lot of time to get a touring group after he found out he was stiffed by the Speedweek. He tried to get a bigger touring series.

Yeah, they live outside of PA, but those are the only drivers actually saying they are running for points, and if they agree not to come for just the one race, nobody loses points and no one gains. . . . Don't even open the can of worms about Charllie trying to get a "bigger" traveling series. Asking "Lucas" and "WoO" to book the Sunday after the "Dream" (which is the Dream rain date) doesn't count as an attempt, when he already knew they wouldn't do it.... I'll probably be at the August 6th show (notice I didn't call it the "All Star" show), but I doubt I'll see any of those drivers there... You can take EDDIE CARRIER off your list of drivers, he has "Bluegrass Speedway, KY" listed for that date on his website.... and Donnie Moran has ignored e-mails asking about the race, and has nothing on his website about attending either..... hate to burst your little balloon.....

Doesnt matter. I could go else where. Hesston has a 5 grand to win UFO race the same day that will outdraw SG but since Charlie got the Guy Webb smoke & mirror show, I am staying local to give SG some coverage. The All Stars will bring 12 cars according to the series and we know that wont happen.
A little research would have shown that a UFo show or a 3SF show would be a better deal for the fans and the car counts..

Selinsgrove could get a national touring series IF they wanted one. How can a track like Mckean County schedule a WoO race on July 7 for a show on July 27? Thats less than 3 weeks before the race to find sponsors and promote it and Selinsgrove doesn't have enough time to schedule anything when they found out in January the speedweek date got axed? Give me a freakin break!  The "all star" (term used loosely) was scheduled to try and make the naysayers happy by scheduling a touring series and it just so happens Charlie Paige booked the worst one. Does anyone else remember the ULMS debacle from a couple years? Expect to see the same.

Thank you....all you promoters out there! 30 cars last night ...not too shabby. Who cares about a touring group?? And how did the App. Speedweek go anyway??

I think there is a whole lot of people that care about seeing the best in the country race at SG. You must be on the 2J crew if you don't want to see them there. Who wants to see the same thing week after week?

With the problems the All stars are having almost any other series would have probably been better but it's still a good purse so I'm sure they'll have a good field. I'm hoping someone(anyone) can put a stop to the Rine show. Is Covert gonna be there?

Tri City Pa Speedway closing it's doors

Per post on Bills DLM.......now what is WoO going to do over Labor Day?

For immediate release 7-28-11
Tri City Speedway is now officially closed effective immediately. The Management Team has been notified from the Virginia office of H &H Motorsports to shut the speedway down and cease operations. We are preparing a news release but, because of such short notice, we wanted to let the teams and fans know as soon as possible. Please check our website for our official release as it will be out as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience to all the fans, teams, and sponsors.
All matters and concerns should be directed to H and H Motor sports at their office in Virginia. Please do not contact any of the management team for they can only refer you to Virginia. It is our understanding that this affects only the big track, However, all concerns including the go karts should be directed to Hetrick Racing or H& H Motorports.

theres another chance for Selinsgrove to step up and get a big late model show scheduled...
