I talked to Justin Loh and received his blessing to go ahead with this plan.

On the night of the Twin 15 features for the Street Stocks we are going to do a Lap Money Scramble. Under this plan we will take lap money for both 15-laps features, however, this will be different. Instead of all the lap money going to the leader of each lap, we are going to spread it out through the field.

We are going to draw positions for each lap. The position drawn will take home the money for that lap. On lap one it could be the driver in position 12 and on the next lap it could be the driver in position six.

There will be a draw for each feature. The only time the leader will receive lap money is the driver that is leading at the finish. Lousy sentence but you get the idea!

By scrambling the money it gives every driver a chance to take home some extra cash. We want to reward the Street Stock teams for their support. If this works, and it should, next year - yes the SNS will be back next year - we will try it with all the divisions.

Like any lap sponsorship, we will have Dave Hare announce the person or business that is sponsoring that lap. That gives sponsors some extra air time.

We will start collecting lap money at the next SNS event in two weeks. If you want to reserve a lap ahead of time please e-mail me and I will save that lap. If we have more donors than laps, we will double up the lap money.

Any street stock that meets Williams Grove rules can compete, however this race will be run under normal Grove Handicapping rules.

Thanks for posting that Mike. I was down in North Carolina at the Madhouse at Bowman Gray Stadium. Man, I have some stories to tell you! The Tim Brown, Brian Loftin war in the 100-lap Modified feature I will never forget. It was punt, pass and kick between the two. They had some torn up bumpers and some real hot tempers. I am hoping it ends up on Youtube. What a night. The Madhouse had their usual Saturday crowd of around 15,000. Amazing!!!

Remember Street Stock teams, we will start collecting lap money this Saturday night!
