ATTENTION ALL 358 LATE MODEL DRIVERS: The Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa. will present the Late Model Memorial Classic on Sat Sept. 3 with at least $1000 going to the 30 lap winner, $150 to start, $200 for tenth, $300 for fifth. The event is run to preserve the memory of the past drivers, owners, track employees and everyone else who has helped the Grandview Speedway remain the success that is it today and are no longer with us. The regular base purse is paid and all additional money, product etc that is collected and or donated goes directly into the LM driver's purse for that night. The more donated the purse for that night will keep climbing. In other words the race will apy at least a grand to win and could possibly increase to $1200 and hopefully $1500! that again depends on the amount gathered leading up to the event. Anyone interested in becomng a supporter (WHICH IS A LOW COST WAY OF ADVERTISING AT THE SPEEDWAY, IN RACING TABLOIDS, OVER THE COMPUTER, IN OUR PROGRAM BOOK, GIANT SPEEDWAY MESSAGE BOARD ETC) of this event can contact me at polekat39@excite.com.
