I'am going to take a chance on getting thrown off here, but I have to say Jeff gave that race away at bristol the other night . I can't beleave he nor his crew cheif were'nt aware of the pit speed situation . He left the 17 and the 2 blow right by him then followed the 17 car for the rest of the night when he clearly had the faster car . he is not the same Jeff Gordon that bumped Rusty out of the way there back in "The Day" I'm a Gordon fan but I'm afraid he's no longer hungry at all. RIP 24 You were the Best
If you would pay attention to the timing lines both the 17 and 2 had an advantage from there pit location and the 17 car only had it to the next timing line then he was stuck till pit road exit. Also if you watched entering pit some had an advantage with entrance the 1 car entered and passed a few cars because his pit was before the next timing line which kept him under the limits. Also nascar has already made a statement that they are going to add a few more lines for next yr.
