April 4, 2012 Billy Beachler Joins Forces with CBA Motorsports for 2012...Will Tackle the Steel Block Bandit Series.
A cold dreary winter got a little brighter when Franklin, West Virginia’s Billy Beachler received the phone call that set his 2012 racing plans in motion. The one time Rocket Chassis employee and long time Booper Bare team member has been tapped to drive a Cecil B Arthur owned Rocket Chassis for 2012. The green and white #21 will make its season debut, April 14th at the scenic Natural Bridge Speedway in Virginia. Armed with a powerful Kawalski Racing Engines built steel block power plant, the team, for the most part will concentrate on running in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The car carries main sponsorship from Cecil B. Arthur Buckin Bulls & Beef Farm and Cecil B Arthur General Contracting, as well as Kawalski Racing Engines. Product help comes from Sunoco Race Fuels and All About Wraps.
The CBA Motorsports team is also pleased to announce that they will take a run at the Steel Block Bandit championship and will be in attendance April 28th, when the series kicks off its 2012 campaign at Hagerstown Speedway. Certainly no stranger to the Bandits, the long time Forrest Virginia, businessman & car owner fielded an entry for 2010 & 2011 Champion, Walker Arthur. With Walker concentrating on racing Super Late Models in 2012, Beachler was asked to drive the CBA Motorsports steel block equipment.
“This is an outstanding opportunity for me” said Billy. “I was very humbled when Cecil asked me to drive for him. We have known each other for a long time and it is an honor to be driving his car. I am excited to get the season started. I have a great car owner, equipment and crew. We got to practice and test a little this spring and the car felt really good. As a team we have all the pieces in place to make a serious run at the Bandit championship” added the 31 year old Beachler.
“There are a lot of people I want to thank. My whole family has always been behind my racing 100%, especially my wife Marlena and our children Brayden & Baylee. Without their constant support I could not be doing this. They are by far, my biggest cheerleaders. I also owe a lot to Walker(Arthur), JR Overstreet, Booper(Bare), Eddie Groome, Chuck, Mike & Mikey. They have always been around and supported my racing. I am very honored and blessed to have the support that enables me to go race and do what I love to do” stated Beachler.
Billy Beachler and the CBA Motorsports team would like send their continued thoughts and prayers to Ronnie Losh as he continues to recover from a serious trucking accident earlier this year.
Billy would like to thank all the team’s sponsors: Cecil B. Arthur Buckin Bulls & Beef Farms, Cecil B. Arthur General Contracting, Kawalski Racing Engines, All About Wraps, Sunoco Race Fuels & K.R.S.
