Tim McCreadie Graces Victory Lane For The First Time At Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Appalachian Mountain Speedweek Show; Dan Angelicchio Scores First FASTRAK Win of 2012.

MARKLEYSBURG, PA (June 4, 2012) Watertown, NY’s Tim McCreadie passed early race leader Brady Smith of Solon Springs, WI to win his first-ever checker at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex. McCreadie’s win came on night four of the six race Appalachian Mountain Speedweek for Super Late Models and earned him $5000 for his effort.

Tim McCreadie and Brady Smith led the 25 car field to the green in their 40-lap event. Smith shot from his outside pole starting spot and quickly developed a big lead until the first caution appeared on lap 4. On the restart Smith again was able to pull away from McCreadie. As the two pulled away Rick Eckert began to advance from his eighth starting spot. Eckert moved into third on lap 18 and looked like he may be a player in the finish.
McCreadie began to reel in the high flying Smith and caught him in lapped traffic, Another caution left an open track for Brady on the restart. McCreadie tailed the #2 and led lap 24. Smith took it back the following lap as they raced side-by-side. Lap 26 saw McCreadie take the lead for good as he began to check out.
McCreadie, who has had a tough season so far, sped to victory earning him $5000 for the win. Eckert passed Smith on the final lap to gather up a second place finish. Smith hung on for third followed by Corey Conley (from 11th) and Dan Stone (from 12th). Sixth through tenth were Vic Coffey, Keith Jackson, Tim Senic, Ron Delano, Jr. (from 24th) and Jason Covert.
Stoystown’s Chad McClellan set fast time for the evening at 16.023 second. The five qualifying heats for the 50 car field were won by Mike Johnson, McCreadie, Kenny Pettyjohn, Keith Jackson and Tim Senic. Earning B-Main wins were Jeremy Miller and Matt Cosner.

we were running 4th on the white flag lap when the 3rd place guy took the 2nd place car out and Mike drove around them both.. Jeremy Miller had already taken the checkers by then.. We started 22rd.. Mike was up to 12th when the 5th coil shock broke..

I guess its probably too late anyway but you guys wouldn't have to start in the back of the heat race because it's a time trial show Saturday night.

haha yeah I believe that after racing the last 5 nights. I don't blame him for wanting to go to his daughter's activities either. They still got the bigger races at SG later in the year anyway so I hope to see you guys there for them.
