It was a really good show, and it's a shame that there wasn't more of a crowd to see it. Both classes had some really good racing, though there were a couple of the heats that had more than their fair share of cautions.

The one bright side to the slim crowd was that there was nary a drunken moron to be seen or heard in the Turn 4 stands, and that's the first time in a looooong time that I could say that.

I do think that the majority of the Lincoln crowd on any given night is just fine, but the loud and stupid ones make an impression, even if they are a relatively small percentage of the total crowd. The atmosphere last night was doubly pleasant because of what was *not* going on. No foul language being yelled, no cussing at drivers as they went by, just race fans having a good time and acting like decent, reasonable human beings.

And a good time was had by all...
