Ive been to Selinsgrove plenty of times, and even once for the Big Block Modifieds. They do put on a great show there.

But, I must say...... WHAT A **** POOR CAR COUNT!!!

I understand that it is a weekly show, but they also run tomorrow at Lincoln, which from the traveling standpoint is further west and south of Selinsgrove. Sure hope the car count picks up Wednesday night.

Im alittle worried about lincoln tomorrow now. Hope they get a nice field of sprints. Theres only 3 locals supporting the selinsgrove show. kevin Albert, duane howard, and doug manmiller. No strunk, vondoren, meme.

Jasty,

Don't worry I heard 20 cars last when they were signing in.... then final count was 15. Horrible.

Only good thing for the Lincoln show tomorrow is that URC is there.....

Sprint cars yet again.... picking up the Big Block Modifieds "slack".

It's the Mach 1 360 series, not URC. I don't know how many URC teams will support this show. When Selinsgrove had a Mach 1 show earlier in the year, there was only 1 URC team there and I think 22 cars total.

I think it's a class move by Charlie Paige giving free admission this Saturday to anyone with a raincheck from last nights show, given the disappointing car counts. It certainly wasn't his fault and he didn't have to do that. I figured a Tuesday night modified race in sprint car country would be a tough draw fan-wise but I thought they'd get a decent field considering it was RoC race.

Sorry, Steve Post on Winged Nation said URC.... I was misinformed. 22 cars is better than 15 modifieds.

Bright side for the modifieds, Jessica Zemken is going to be doing double duty Wednesday night. So losing Hearn, car count wise, won't matter....

I'm pretty sure this race is a URC race that is also part of the Mach 1 series. URC is involved with two races in the series i believe, the jack gunn at Selinsgrove and tonights race at Lincoln. If i'm not mistaken I thought Bob Miller was involved in getting this Lincoln race together and he's with URC.
