That was quite "nifty" reading. And that's another reason why our dirt track racing is a "sport". Those within it are "sports" themselves. They help others... the "other guy"... the "opponent". Heck, even in NASCAR you can see teams helping other teams, drivers helping other drivers with "the draft"... Possibly an example of the difference between a "sport" and a "game" is mentioned in openwheel93's post... Nearly everyone has, will, or does enjoy a "game"... is racing a "sport" and everything else a "game"...? :thinking: ;) :cool: :thumbright: :cheers2:

Has always been my experience with racing, no matter what form we have done over the years. It is the only place you can leave thousands of dollars of equipment lay out and walk away. Something I wouldn't do in my front yard.
Heck we even had someone run home, take the wing off the top of their race car and bring it back to us so we could run the feature, a couple years ago.

The Pit area is like being with one big familly. Enimies on the track. friends in the pits. Sure there are bad nights but, most of the time everybody is willing to try and help out another team
