Shippensburg RUMOR?

a buddy at work said he heard a report on the radio that a race driver got his @ss booted from the track for BITING a fan after he was black flagged for an incident on the track.

what the heck is going on at Shippensburg?

Man charged after confrontation at Shippensburg Speedway

SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP -- Pennsylvania State Police, Carlisle, charged Earl Wayne Kopp Jr., 40, McSherrystown, with harassment and disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance Saturday at the Shippensburg Speedway, 178 Walnut Bottom Road.

Police said Kopp refused to stop his vehicle after he was black flagged during a race at 4:42 p.m. Kopp eventually stopped his vehicle and started to yell and swear at raceway staff and others in attendance. Police said Kopp then startled two small children when he threw his helmet at the fence they were standing behind. The father then confronted Kopp, who bit him during an altercation.

Wow I broke my kids of that at 2 yrs. old. If the deal with the kids standing behind the fence is true throw him out for good.

I Just so happened to be there and it was during the 4 cylinder strictly stock class and the driver that got booted was driving all over the place and took one other driver out and thats when it all started. Also the kids were standing behind the fence but near the backstretch pit entrence area. When the driver walked past and threw the helmet the dad and the driver started to yell at each other and the rest is history. But it was something else to watch it all happen just a couple feet away from us. :buttkick:
