As I get older, my memory worsens but.....If I recall correctly, the Farm Show itself frowned upon the Friday date and flat track racing. The gentlemen from Trail-Way Speedway who present this show for us every year have always wanted the Friday Micro Sprint flat track show. It was the farm show that said no, not the show promoters.

You can still see some good circle track racing in the go-kart or quarter midget building. This show has so much to offer, even without the Friday Micro Sprint races (even though I agree and really miss those shows).

As for asking what cars will be there, I have noticed a decline in race cars and an increase in street cars over the past few years, and I have probably been to the last 10 straight. Last year, I was sort of disappointed with the turnout of race cars. So, after we heard about the decrease in cars at the York show, don't be surprised if the race car count isn't what it used to be at Motorama.

Anyways, it is still a great show. I actually have other plans this year, and won't be able to attend, but anyone that is looking for something to do that weekend, mark it down. Just, get that extra $8 out for the parking fee! Unless you get there early enough Saturday and get to park in the main lot ;)
