The update from the Madhouse. Lineups decided by time trials for the Modifieds. They timed the modifieds. The time decided the order they pick pills for the feature. Burt Myers had the fastest time. He drew first and came up with the fifth starting spot pill. Lee Jeffries had the second fastest time and he drew 21st starting spot. That is real handicapping. By the way, here is the Youtube video of the week prior. Yankee Jimmy Blewitt went down to Bowman Gray and led for quite a while. Brad Robbins was in second and banging away. Finally Blewitt goes around. The conversation after Blewitt goes around is funny. I like the "he ain't down here for points" line the best. Take note to the crowd and how close you sit to the track.

All of the 100 lap modified races feature a complete redraw.. Burt Myers who qualified fastest by 1/1,000 quicker than Lee Jeffreys drew 5th.. Jeffreys started 21st.. Tim Brown started 9th..the race was a good one as Jonathan "John Boy" Brown started on the pole along side of rookie Tommy Neal.. Brown in only his 5th start for his new owners, Darrell & Brandy Jones swapped the lead with John Smith before grabbing the lead for good on lap 83 with another outside pass... Burt Myers finished in sixth. He and Jonathan Brown are now tied for the points lead..Michael Clifton had his best run of the year as he finished third with Danny Bohn, and Jason Myers rounding out the top five...No Shows included Chris Fleming, rookies Matt Cotner, Danny Probst, and Robbie Brewer who is awaiting a new motor..The twin sportsman 20 lap races featured two first time winners, rookie Jacob Creed and John Lain.. the modifieds have twin 25 lap features this week with the street stocks having their biggest race of the year, a 50 lapper which promises to be a real slam bang affair
