Not interested. I grew up with Modifieds, went to Mod races three nights a week for prob three decades. It just doesn't interest me anymore. Nothing will beat the past in my opinion. Have fun, if I am at a race it will probably be Linda's Speedway, Greenwood Valley or Trailway that weekend. Sure won't cost anywhere near as much and will see more competition and better racing.

Me too. Haven't been there in 20 years. Place is a dump, the Fairgrounds won't do anything to improve the place and it's not financially feasible for the promoter to put money into the place.

Now, once Glenn Donnelly gets his new 3/4 mile track and facility up and running in Brewerton and they move SDW to that place, it will be a totally different story.
Dirt's for racing, asphalt's for gettin' there!

Once Donnelly gets the new track built and he and Cory Reed start pushing the right buttons with all the owners and drivers, WRG's SDW is history. Personally, they should have moved it to Rolling Wheels years ago, except Glenn would never invest the money he needed in the additional grandstands to handle the crowd. He also had a neighbor that would not cooperate with his expansion plans for Rolling Wheels, so it never happened.

After 20 years of modifieds and having been in Donnelly's pit area for most of that, if he came to me and asked to race his series vs. WRG's, I'd be there. Unfortunately for him, I've come to the dark side with the sprint cars. I hope that we get a shot to race 410's on that new track.
