You're right, those are good things but it could have been better with a faster, racier surface with more than 1 groove, perhaps a cushion up near the rail. :yessss: Hagerstown could be a phenomenal track for sprints if they put a little effort into track prep.

Thanks for the input friends , bags are packed, hotels booked, Hagerstown here we come. Plan B is Lincoln if
the weather turns bad and Hagerstown pulls the plug early enough.

Thanks again ! justplanecrazy
How was it?

Waited out the rain, about 30 minutes or so lots of wind and rain at times, about 3 to 4 hours before starting time. Races were about an hour
late but once they got started they were great. Only 31 lates but a lot of quality drivers. The track was rather racy with lots of passing in the
feature. Jimmy Owens and Tyler Reddick charged from the back up to 3rd and 4th. Don Oneal and Steve Francis started up front and must have
passed each other 8 times in the last 10 laps or so in one of the best battles for the win I have seen in a while. Good pure stock race as well, they
raced hard but clean. A decent crowd on hand and all races done by 10:30. Over all a another great trip to Hagerstown.

Good to hear. I go up there probiably about 6 times a year and usually they put on a good show. Hell, even the hobby stock cars usually put on a good race. Glad to hear you had a good time.
