Outlaw Enduro Series Racing Sunday at Grandview Speedway

Post by greenflag » Fri May 17, 2013 9:12 am

This Sunday afternoon May 19th at Grandview Speedway, the Outlaw Enduro Series will hold their second event of the season. I have attached links for the Four Cylinder and Eight Cylinder rules. Check them out and see if your car might be legal for this event. I also attached a link for raceday information. If you pre-register, you will be eligible to draw for position. Anyone that does not pre-register, they will be added to the back of the field.

If you have never seen an enduro at Grandview Speedway, I would suggest a visit. They put on an excellent show. And if you don't have a car, feel free to join us from the grandstands. Adult General Admission is just $7 for a 100-lap 4-cylinder Enduro, 100-lap 8-cylinder enduro and two features for the Vintage Race Cars. Pit gates open at 8AM for safety inspections and grandstand gates open at 11:30AM. Racing begins promptly at 1:00PM.

Grandview Speedway is located in Bechtelsville PA, about 50 miles north of Philly, 55 miles northeast of Lancaster, and about 85 miles east of Harrisburg.

What type of car counts do they usually get for this event?

Last year, most car counts ranged between 35 and 40 in each class. This years opener had car counts in the low 20s in each division, but there are several new entrants on the pre registered list. The word is getting out there and I'm hopeful that car counts will be back to normal tomorrow.

The race was rained-out this past Sunday afternoon. Next event is Sunday June 9th, same starting time as noted above. Also a new limited open class will be added to the program. I hae added their rules here at the following link. SSP and Trail-Way Xtreme Stocks, check these rules out as I believe you may be able to compete. I could be incorrect since I am not a competitor but check them out and circle Sunday June 9th on the calendar.
