Big Diamond this Tues DIRTcar Super DIRT Series

Post by Allen 1a » Sun Jul 13, 2014 4:34 pm

Only a couple of days away...Been waiting for this show all year long...This Tuesday (rain date is Wednesday) the DIRTcar Super DIRT Series makes it's return to the Big Diamond Speedway for the 'Big Block Brawl 75'....On tap Tues will you'll see all the DIRTcar stars do battle with many of the BIG name talent of the Pa, NJ, and even Del region in a 75 lap event....Also be fore the 'Brawl' you'll have the 'Battle Before The Brawl' with the top 4 in BDS points (Billy Pauch Jr, Duane Howard, Rick Laubach, Frank Cozze) go against the top 4 in SDS DIRTcar points (Matt Sheppard, Brett Hearn, Billy Decker, Billy Dunn) do battle in a series of challenge races...The always exciting Road Runners and a Fireworks display is on tap also...Track was really good this past Fri with a really nice cushion around the top and a smooth and racy bottom groove was there all night also...Billy Pauch Jr is the 'hottest' driver at the Diamond this year with him picking up 4 wins so far, and on Tuesday he'll be behind the wheel of his dad's big block #1 to protect the home turf...Seen a weather forecast this morning that has maybe a couple of showers around in the morning Tues, but as the day goes things should start clearing out in the afternoon and make for a great race night, hope this forecast stays true....Hope to see many of ya's in the Coal Region this Tues (or Wed but hopefully not)...This is gonna be a GREAT show folks.
HODNETT @ the Diamond.....AMAZING !!!!!!

Was going to come to this show, but looks like it most likely will be cancelled early with the weather report that I just looked at. :( The weather looks good for Wednesday though. :thumbright: :) Any idea on the damage to attend????

Inclement weather forces cancelation of tonight's Super DIRTcar Series race at Big Diamond Speedway
Super DIRTcar Series will return to Big Diamond in 2015

Due to inclement weather, tonight's Big Brawl 75 at Big Diamond Speedway has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Super DIRTcar Series and Big Diamond Speedway management have reviewed local scheduling and will not exercise the option to use tomorrow as a rain date due to previously scheduled events at other venues.

The Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series will return to the Big Diamond Speedway in 2015.
