Eldora Truck Race

Post by Bernie Lomax » Tue Jul 22, 2014 9:05 pm

Anyone tuning in for the 2nd running of the Mudsummer Classic? Hopefully the track isnt like last year and Larson can pick up the W. He had the fastest truck last year, but Dillon did a great job of holding him off.

It's raining there now, but should clear up later. I expect about the same track conditions.

Sounds like they prepared the track last year to prevent ruts. Using last year as a baseline they now have an idea on how to make it racier. We shall see. I know I'll be tuned tonight with a nice glass of Knob Creek Single Barrel in my hand. Giddyup!

That race was definitely worth knocking off class...Eldora and Larson or watching a movie in a boring Ethics class? No- :bdf: brainer

I enjoyed that race last night. Kyle raced his heart out. I like the piece they did on Norm Benning. How could you not pull for a guy like Norm.

I enjoyed it. Lots of 3 and 4 wide action. Track was slick, but racier than last year. Bottom was the place to be in the heats, top was there in the feature. And larson...wow! Great job tony

I liked the piece on Norm as well. The race was good and the track was in great shape. Kyle Larson... what can you say about him? He hit everything but the pacetruck last night, but he was entertaining to watch. You knew he was going to make a run on Bubba towards the end because how much better he was running 3 and 4. Wonder if he'll try it again next year?

I'd be disappointed if Larson wasn't there next year. The best race of the year is on dirt and NASCAR's fans are now thinking dirt is better.Who would have thought?
