This week’s edition of “The Inside Lane” on ESPN 92.3 FM presented by Custom Metal Coating with Steve Inch and Todd Steward will air at 5 p.m. (EST) Thursday, April 23, featuring interviews with Stevie Smith, Kevin Nouse, and Nathan Long.
410 sprint car driver Smith, of Broken Arrow, Okla., scored his first win of the season Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in the Tommy Hinnershitz Spring Classic. Smith will talk about his second season driving for car owner Fred Rahmer. Open wheel ace Nouse, of Mechanicsburg, will discuss his 2015 season plans to compete in both the 358 sprint car and super sportsman divisions. Long, of Selinsgrove, is a college sophomore who won his first race of the season with a last-lap, last-turn pass in Saturday’s pro stock feature at Selinsgrove Speedway.
“The Inside Lane,” which also streams live on 923ESPN.com, was launched on May 1, 2014, to cover the exciting sport of auto racing on the regional and national scenes. The one-hour motorsports talk show has featured interviews with some of the sport’s most recognized names, including Indy 500 and Daytona 500 winner Mario Andretti, World of Outlaws sprint car champion Donny Schatz, the Motor Racing Network’s Steve Post, Hall of Fame sprint car champion Fred Rahmer, and Daytona International Speedway president Joie Chitwood III, to name a few.
Inch is a long-time Pennsylvania race track announcer and publicist and Steward has more than 35 years of experience in the radio business.
